I have gotten some mixtapes in my life, more than I made myself. My ex gave me a lot of mixtapes in the two years we have been a couple. With mixtapes you share a part of yourself and I appreciate he did this. I have to confess that I have not listened to every song - You know, there are always some songs you don’t like already at the beginning.
The question is: What do people want to tell you with mixtapes?
Of course they want to share their music and a part of themselves. Do they want to tell you that they don’t like your music?
When there are two songs on a mixtape which are about a person who has been cheating, do they want to tell you their ex cheated on them?
The fact is that mixtapes somehow sneak into your life. The music lands on your Ipod and the songs hide among yours, perhaps they become even a part of you. Even when relationships are over the songs might stay. Reminders of old times, better times.
Didn’t you want to start to learn Hebrew, Sign Language and Swedish? Now you met this guy who only knows sign language and you cannot communicate with him personally. Bad luck boy.
You are just too lazy to get things started. Move your fucking ass!!! Problems won’t solve themselves. Just wanted you to know.
